TET Exam – List of State & Central Teacher Eligibility Test – TET 2019

TET Exam Online Form – The full form of TET is Teacher Eligibility Test. It is conducted for recruitment of teachers. Candidates, if wants to join the primary school as a teacher, must have a need to crack TET Exam. It has two types i.e. Paper-I and Paper-II. As per Sub-Section (1) of Section 23 of RTE Act, the NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education) vide advertisement dated 23rd Aug 2010 & 29th July 2011 prescribed the minimum norms for a person to be eligible for teacher posts in Class I to VIII. TET Exam 

The TET stands for Teacher Eligibility Test. It is a competitive entrance exam for teacher jobs. This test is mandatory if get government jobs of teaching to Class-I to 8. It is divided into two papers, first paper for Class I to 5 and second paper for Class 6 to 8 teaching. It is conducted by State as well as central government in India. The test is scheduled to achieve and fulfill the goals of “Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act”.

History of TET Exam

TET was conducted by Govt. of India with the purpose of improving quality of teaching. The first time it was scheduled in 2011. For already working teachers, it is supposed to crack within two years.

TET Exam Structure 

The NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education) is responsible for maintaining an entire database. This exam is based on National Curriculum Framework. All graduates including B.Sc., BA, B.COM, and others will eligible to apply for the test. All B.Ed. graduates have to need to crack it for teacher jobs. A candidate has the need to get more than 60 percent marks for qualifying in it.
